John Lawrence	1954	Lived in Preston street, pub was on the corner, just finished reading Len Goodmans book, better late than never, he says it was his grandads local, and was on the corner of Harrold & Roman road, but I am sure it was Preston street, his grandad & my grandmother were brother and sister, I think, so we might be cousins.
