The Duke Of Cambridge was situated at
101 Queensbridge Road and closed in 2006. This pub has now been demolished
and replaced by flats. |

My dad was tenant there 1960 to 1965.
Charringtons House. £1 rent £1 rates a week or month. Bottle light/brown ale
10d old money,. 3p new. Whiskey 2 shillings. 10p new. I remember all the
prices. I worked there when I left school and on the jellied eels,stall
outside |
