Old Mail Coach

The Old Mail Coach was situated at 65 Kingsland Road. This pub was founded by 1831 as the Mail Coach.  For a brief period in the 1870s and 1880s it traded as the Champion Arms, before the name reverted to Old Mail Coach.  It seems to have just made it into the twentieth century, closing in around 1902.  The premises are now in restaurant use.
