Rising Sun

The Rising Sun was situated at 248 Globe Road.
I
was only a child at the end of the 1950s/early 1960s, but my mum & dad used
to leave me and my brother outside while they had a drink and listened to
a singer called Hank who dressed like a cowboy and actually took his horse
into the pub. |

This pub is now long
demolished, probably in the late 1960s. |
