The Royal Cricketers was situated at
211 Old
Ford Road.
This pub was established in around 1850 and was owned by the Whitbread
Brewery. It was always a popular and busy place, with canalside patio
seating and views across Victoria Park. So it was something of a surprise
when it closed in 2003. Now converted to private residential use. |
