Von Tromp

The Von Tromp was situated at 121 Bethnal Green Road. Also known as Van Tromps. Publican in the 1930s/1940s was Maurice Fernandez.

This pub was established by 1827 as the Von Tromp.  It struggled in the 1980s, spending as much time closed as open, and in 1985 was renamed Lyons Corner.  Final closure came in February 1990 and it has been in various forms of retail use ever since.
