White Horse

The White Horse was situated at 44 Cheshire Street. This pub was present by 1818 and was rebuilt in its present form in 1860.  It closed in around 1917 and is now in retail use on market days.  In 1821 it was selling beers from the Hanbury Brewery, one of the partners in what became Truman, Hanbury, Buxton & Co.
