The Unicorn

The Unicorn was situated at 27 Vivian Road. This pub was converted to flats in 2004.

Used to drink here of a Saturday lunchtime. Peters and Lee used to be a staple on the stage then, around 1967/68. Can't remember his name but the publican left here and went to the London Hospital Tavern. Carried on having decent music in there at all times.

I used this pub on and off while courting my girlfriend Yvonne, who lived in the next road, Kenilworth road and I remember using the tunnel that took you in the back way, most strange nothing like that in Kingston where I came from. 1960 - 1963
