The Middleton Arms was situated at 303
Queensbridge Road. This pub has been demolished and replaced by a block of
flats. |

This pub was present by 1847. It was tied to the Charrington Brewery until
1992 when it was acquired by the Wiltshire Brewery. It was closed and
demolished in 2002. |

My grandfather John Henry Noble was the
potman at The Middleton Arms. After leaving the pub to go home he was killed
by German bomb in 1940. |
