Brunswick Arms

Picture source: National Brewery Heritage Trust

The Brunswick Arms was situated at 237 Well Street. This pub was established by 1844, later becoming a Charrington’s Brewery pub.  In 2006 it was renamed Miliki Spot 2, the name suggestive to me that it must have been West African run at this time (there was also a Miliki Spot in Camberwell, South London).  The pub had closed and the interior was being gutted in December 2010.
