The Dagmar Arms was situated at 47 Danesdale Road. This was a Watney’s Brewery pub, established by 1872.  In around 1985 it was renamed Zanzibar for a while, reverting to Dagmar Arms by 1991.  It closed in 2005 and is now in retail use.
