The Mitford Castle was situated at 129 Cadogan
Terrace. This pub was known as Top O'The Morning when it closed c2013.
Planning permission to demolish and replace by flats above and to the rear
was granted in October 2014. |

This pub has now been demolished. |

THis was the place where Thomas Briggs was
brought when his body was found on the tracks behind the pub on July 9 1864.
He would later die and become the first ever murder victim on a British
train. |
