The Barley Mow was situated at 50 Long Lane.
This pub was on the south side of Smithfield Market and closed in 2006. It became a branch of S & M Cafe, a restaurant chain specialising in sausage and mash dishes, which in turn has closed.

This pub was present by 1806.  By 1840 it was selling beer from the Combe Delafield Brewery and ‘J Gardiner Stout’ and later it sold Worthington’s beers.  By the 1980s at least it was a Charrington’s Brewery pub and had apparently been one of Lord Lucan’s haunts before he performed his vanishing act.  From 1997 to 2000 it was renamed Hogshead, part of the chain of that name, before reverting to Barley Mow for its final few years.

Now used as a restaurant called Apulia. The passage at the side is still called Barley Mow Passage.
