The Kings Head was situated at 49 Chiswell
Street,
on the north-west corner of the former Whitbread Brewery which is now used
as a conference and events centre .This pub
closed in 2008
and appears to be used for the storage of building materials..
Previously known as The Brewery Tap. |

This pub has now reopened as The Jugged Hare. |

Customer, spent many evenings with my dad in this pub. As
it was next door to the brewery you could always guarantee a great pint.
I also delivered their fruit & veg as I worked on a nearby greengrocers
stall. |

lived at this pub for 6 months in the summer of 1996, even served Kevin
