Lady Owen Arms

The Lady Owen Arms (or Lady Owens Arms - both names appear to have been used) was situated at 285 Goswell Road. This was an Ind Coope pub which became a music venue in the late 1980s, demolished in 1998 and replaced by flats.

The pub's name came from Lady Alice Owen, a noted local benefactor in Tudor times. A campus of City and Islington College now occupies the site.
