The Minstrel Boy was situated at 156 Colney Hatch Lane. This pub closed in 2017.

We as a team of footballers frequented the minstrel boy pub in the late fifties. we would play our match on Sunday morning then hot foot it to the pub, as we were only about 17/18 at the time we weren’t supposed to be in there. the landlady at the time used to allow us in as we were a well behaved bunch so we were privileged. I am now 76 and was saddened to find out it had closed we had some great times there and had great respect for our hosts.
