The Hare & Hounds was situated at 181 Upper Street. This pub is now used as a bar/restaurant.
This was one of my favourite music pubs at the time. It had a wonderful gay couple who were real characters running owning it. All my favourite bands played there, KKKhan, JJ & Shuffling Hungarians (still around). It possibly had Arts council Funding and attracted a load of punters who knew their onions & enjoyed a great atmosphere.
