This pub closed in 2011 and is now used as offices. |

As a teenager in the 60s I used to run away from Lancashire
to my London gran Edith Kibler, who was a regular at the King of Denmark
(had her own chair). The pub sent flowers to her funeral in 1973 - I've told
many that the King of Denmark sent flowers to my nan! |
