Highbury Sluice House Tavern

The Highbury Sluice House Tavern was situated on the banks of the New River. Originally Eel Pie House, this pub was replaced in the late 19th century by the New Sluice House some 400 metres to the south-east, which for a long time has been known as the Arsenal Tavern.
