    | I watched the Queen’s coronation on TV
at this pub on June 2nd 1953. We were visiting the landlord, my uncle
Michael J Duffy and his wife Thelma (known as Pam). Upstairs there was a
function room with a pipe organ which I loved to play with as a six or
seven-year-old. My uncle told us that a regular in the pub was the actor
    Patrick McGoohan. |
