The Highbury Brewery Tap was situated at 54
Holloway Road. This pub was last used as a bar called Barcosa. Also known as
The Tank, The Beer House, The Flounder & Firkin and The Lamb. |

This pub has now reopened as The Lamb. |

I drank in The Brewery Tap, Holloway
Rd, London in mid 60s. It was frequented by Irish navvies working on the
Victoria Line construction. I was on £20 a week then with Express
Lifts. ( which was good money, or so I thought) As I recollect they were on
huge wages, but somehow managed to squander the lot and some were running a
tab. |
