John Martin	1970s	Rock and roll on a Friday night in the hall at the rear of the pub. Billy Brooks, Tony Gower, Tony (smudger) Smith, etc. All good mates. Where have all the good times gone?
Ken Major	late 1950s/1960s	Had to walk through the pub to get to the outside hall, not allowed to stop because too young. I was still at Higher Grade school. Good 1950s type rock and roll groups on a Friday evening. Also known as the Shoestring Club.
