I was a musician here, running the acoustic sessions on a
Thursday night. The place was great, but changed hands a few times. Best
remembered publican manager was a guy called Ted from Ireland. Ted was
pleased that the pub became a kind of multi-cultural melting pot for the
neighbourhood. The Sessions brought in musicians from Poland, Algeria,
New Zealand, South Africa, the Netherlands to play regularly. |
