St Martins Tavern

Date of photo: 1940s

The St Martins Tavern was situated at 35 Pratt Street. Now used as a restaurant.
It was nicknamed The Bone House as the site was rumoured to be a burial site for plague vicims. I remember a barrel organ grinder and monkey outside on Saturdays.
