My favrie and nan,Ted & Margaret
mercer owned this pub with my dad, Ted, as manager. My dad met my mum
there. mum walked in for lunch with a friend. As my dad says, my farvie
went to take their order. My mum being from posh Muswell Hill, turns and
says 'this plates dirty', so my farvie ted being an east ender turns
around picks up the plate, spat on it, wipes it on his ass & says 'now
it's clean'. Lol. Obs he never served on the plate. |
