The Prince George Of Cumberland was situated at
41 Mackennal Street. In commercial use at ground level following closure, it
was demolished in 2011 having been shut for at least 20 years. To be
replaced by two luxury houses. |

My grand uncle, Charles Frederick Davy, was the
licensee in 1897. He was convicted in police court of staying open after
hours and running a gambling house. |
