The Sea Witch was situated on Riverside
(between Enderbys Wharf and Morden Wharf). It was often used as a “signing
on” office for casual river workers. The pub and Hollick’s Whalf received
direct hits during the blitz in 1940, destroying the building. The site was
taken over eventually by Tunnel Refineries. |
