I was a regular customer at the Rising Sun, 50, Black
Prince Road, Kennington. The Landlord was Arthur Pearce. His daughter
Eileen was a permanent fixture at the bar. The Barman was Bill, (he
practically ran the pub). Great little pub. We fought to stop it being
demolished, but we didn't win. |
