The Hartley was situated at 64 Tower Bridge
Road. It was formerly called the Pagoda and this name is still visible
on the pub. The Hartley name refers to a jam factory that was situated
nearby, the named tower of which is still visible. It is now used as a
Caribbean restaurant (see photo below). |
