The Prince Of Denmark was situated at 152 Portland Road. This pub was used as a bar called Oceans Apart following closure.
Now reopened as The Portland Arms.

Brian Sharman 1958-1980 Customer for 30 plus years, recall Bert,Ruby,Verna and Cherry Martin. Also Peter o’donohoe.
Made a lot of chums there inc. Brian Rollinson,Fred Bocock. Etc
Johanna McGregor 1987-2001 My Godfather, Mick owned it. We always had family parties upstairs and played Johnny Cash ring of fire on the juke box.
Sharon 1983-closure Loved the Sunday night local Irish bands. Beautiful building. We moved in 1991 from Oakley Road and returned to visit and it was flats. Customer.
Gerri Allinson 1970-1986 My parents ran the pub when it was owned by Courage. Many fond memories and a few scary ones also. Remember with great affection the wonderful Connie Smith, Kath Farren and the fab team of staff John Collins, Little and Big Mick, Sean, Diarmuid and Sheila to name a few.
