The Greyhound was situated at 313-315 Kirkdale.
This pub was briefly known as The Fewterer and Firkin and
closed in 2007. After the above photo
was taken the pub was unlawfully demolished and then left partially rebuilt.
However, scaffolding was erected in November 2014 prior to commencement of
rebuilding, following an ultimatum
given to the developer responsible by Lewisham Council. |
|
This pub has now
been demolished and rebuilt. A premises licence has been applied for (and, I
believe, granted). Residential units have been built behind and to the side
of the pub (on its former car park), but the future of this pub looks very
promising. |
