The Copperfield was situated on Station Approach. This pub was closed in 2011 while its licence iwas reviewed by the council in light of representations from the police following anti-social behaviour.

Reopened as an Antic pub called the Catford Bridge Tavern soon after. Tesco bought the leasehold so closed again. Eventually bought by Camden Pub Co, due to reopen in 2015 but struck by lightning and suffered heavy damage. Still intention to rebuild, tentative target date December 2016.
