The Thames Barrier Arms was situated at 32
Hardens Manor Way. Previously called The Lads Of The Village, this pub
closed in 1997 and is now used as a veterinary
surgery. |
|
In the 1990's the Thames Barrier Arms
was used for scenes in an episode the TV series London's Burning. The pub
was given the name The Roebuck Arms and a name board with this name was
attached to the pub. After the shooting the TV company left the board on the
pub which lead to some pub historians thinking it had been a previous name
of the pub and doing research to find out when the name had been used. |
