The Yorkshire Grey was situated on Eltham Road. This pub is now used as a McDonalds drive through restaurant.

The car park surrounding the pub was used for car boot sales on sundays in the 90's and to my belief (rumours of the Horn Park Estate) it was closed down after police found it to be used for 'underground bare knuckle boxing'. I lived on the Horn Park Estate and I used the Yorkshire Grey toilets as a child

During WWII the pub was used as an RAF Recruitment Depot. My father signed up here in May 1940.
