The Chopper was situated at 58-70 York
Road. Named after the local heliport, this pub closed c2013 to become The
Battersea Bar. It has now been demolished
with flats built on the site. |

I used to go to the Chopper while doing work experience with a computer
game company that had offices nearby. The company went on to be the
largest computer game company in the UK, maybe Europe, and they
published Tomb Raider. |
