The Railway Hotel was situated on the corner of Rocks Lane and Upper Richmond Road. The pub was later called the Red Rover and became the Café More. It closed in 1995 and was demolished two years later. A block of flats was built on the site.
It was glimpsed briefly in the Hancock's Half Hour episode 'The Cold'. Hancock and Sid James were filmed keep fit exercising along Rocks Lane and Barnes Common up to the traffic lights by the pub.
