The Furzedown was situated at 116 Mitcham Lane. Formerly known as The Samuel Johnson and The Park Tavern, this pub did not open after the first Covid-19 lockdown. In June 2021, the WhatPub website recorded that the place had been boarded up, with all signage removed.
