Bessborough Arms

The Bessborough Arms was situated at
the corner of Bessborough Place and Balvaird Place. The Westminster
Cathedral Roman Catholic Primary School now occupies the site. According to
Bombsight.org five bombs landed around there in WW2 and that led to
redevelopments and rebuilding in the immediate area post war and it's rise
in wealthier inhabitants sadly making the pub surplus. It was demolished in
1961. |
