The Tea Clipper was situated at 19 Montpelier Street. This grade-II listed pub opened in 1841 when it was called The Talbot, and renamed to The Tea Clipper in 1975. It closed in 2014.

Listed building details:
Public house. Early/mid C19. Yellow brick, stucco dressings. Three storeys, two windows to Montpelier Street with three windows to left hand return. Corinthian pilasters to ground floor pub front. Square headed sash windows, architraved with plate glass. Interior not inspected.
