The Prince Of Wales was situated at 294 Clapham
Road. This pub was suffered bomb damage on 13th October 1940,
during which there were over 30 fatalities. The saloon bar was reopened as a
lock up on 10th April 1941, then closed permanently because of enemy action
on 29th June 1944. |
