The Birdpool was situated at 12 Avondale Park Road. This pub was rebuilt, probably in the 1920s or 1930s. This was apparently later the Bridport Arms then a bar called Tops when it closed. It was converted to residential use, probably around the late 2000s, though it may have been closed for some time. The last tenants were the parents of Dennis Wise, the ex-Chelsea footballer.
