The Norland Arms was situated at 12 Addison
Avenue. This Taylor Walker pub closed c1991 and is now in retail use. |

I remember the Norland Arms circa
1964/5… where.. having saved a bit we would go and have a pint… and even
drinking at the bar where Peter O’Toole and Richard Harris even treated us
one night to a drink! Good vibes in those days! |

Looking for contact information for John and Rose, former proprietors
for family tree research. |

I was a regular there for many
years. Most people knew me as Dick. Would love to get in contact with
some of the old regulars. |

I was a college student from the
USA and spent summers in London with my family. My dad introduced me to
John & Rose who introduced me to some regulars close to my age and I was
hooked. I regularly joined my friends Dick Thurston, John Godfrey and
Mick Thurston. John & Rose were a terrific couple. Their Great Danes
often stretched out in front of the bar easily taking up about 30 sq.
