The Blue Posts was situated at 6
Tottenham Court Road, on the corner with Hanway Street. This pub was
supposedly the last stop to a for condemned prisoners to enjoy a final
tipple enroute from Marylebone to Marble Arch for hanging. A one storey
building after being bombed during the blitz. It has now been demolished to
make way for a parade of shops. |

Customer: I used to visit often as I worked in the
British Museum close by. Though it was a long time ago, I can remember
the layout inside. The bar was against the right wall, seats on the
left. A food bar was down the back. |
