The Tyburn was situated at 18-20 Edgware Road. This Wetherspoons pub closed in 2017, fallen victim to The Bryanston project (thebryanston.co.uk) which is redeveloping the entire block on which this pub was located.

The Tyburn was rebranded in the sixties as The King and Queen a ghastly modern tacky place with bright lights and illuminated playing cards. The toilets were interesting the walls were blackboard with chalk provided to encourage graffiti. Thankfully it did not last long.
