The Red Lion was situated at 375 Hertford Road. This pub closed in September 2021.

Closed after Star Pubs (Heineken) did not renew the lease of a successful landlord/tenant. Two sets of replacements did not work out and the pub closed. The pub had problems with squatters until guardians were moved in.
