The Red Lion was situated on Lion Square. Previously known as The Shipp, the pub was rebuilt in 1908 following a fire at the inn, which can be seen on a online BFIPlayer https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-fire-at-the-historic-inn-at-hampton-1908-online.  The Red Lion closed in 1979 and has been used as offices.
