The Sam McGuire was situated at 19 High Street. This pub was previously known as The Queens Arms.

For a very brief few months after the Queens Arms this was the Vampire Bar, The guy who was re-decorating it painted all the windows black and red, when the pub became the Sam McGuire and they painted the windows green, and when they closed the place they painted the windows back to white, it had a lot of re-branding since the Queens Arms closed... and still no one went in there!
