The Firefly was located
on Welbeck Avenue where it joined with Stratford Road on the Barnhill Estate
in Hayes. It was eventually demolished and flats built on the site. The
pub's exterior, using the original name, was featured in the 1970 film The
Reckoning starring Nicol Williamson. In the film, the pub was located in
Liverpool. |
