The Warren was situated at 419 Hanworth Road.  This pub has now been converted to a Tesco Express store.

My Great Grandparents , William George Morgan , born 1862 and his wife Emma , lived opposite The Warren in a wooden 'hut ' on a small plot of land . William had been an optical lens polisher and turner , a good job , but he and Emma fell prey to an over-indulgence in alcohol and unfortunately they down-sized to an extremely basic accommodation, supplementing their diminishing income by growing and selling vegetables. Sadly the Warren conveniently lay on the other side of the road and must have become their main interest from then on.
