This pub has a particular memory for my wife and myself. We went there for a
drink on our very first date in December 1970 and a gent standing at the
bar casually told us we would always be together. We looked at each other
and giggled a bit and explained it was our first date! I was 24, my girl
friend 21. No idea who he was and what made him say that but 43 years later
we are still together, so he was obviously right! I would love to know
if anyone else out there was told any similar information by this
individual? |
